Coaching

  • Event Storyteller Support

Do you have an upcoming fundraising event or public campaign that will include community or staff members sharing their experiences with your program or services? We can offer one-on-one and group coaching to help them develop and practice stories before the event. We take a trauma-informed approach that helps prepare impactful stories while maintaining storytellers’ agency in deciding what to share and how. Support can be tailored to specific timelines, event details, and needs.

What People Are Saying

“We were so fortunate to work with Rachel to develop some personal stories from our supporters and patients to be shared at our annual development events. Some of our storytellers were sharing personal stories and were quite nervous to speak in front of large audiences, but Rachel did such a great job preparing them and helping them feel confident and supported. She took the time leading up to the event to help our storytellers polish up their stories in a way that felt authentic to their voice but still concise and appropriate for our event. She was so wonderful to work with and took such great care to help us meet our mission and vision.”

“Rachel did a wonderful job helping me to edit my story and gave me great tips on presenting to a live audience. She also gave real time feedback about my voice projection and how to edit things in a way that was more digestible for the general audience, while practicing. She is great to work with. I felt a lot more comfortable and confident stepping up to give my speech/tell my story after working with her.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Rachel on a storytelling project for a major event, alongside three other participants. Rachel was exceptional throughout the entire process. Her coaching was thoughtful, insightful, and empowering. She helped us refine and edit our stories with great care, always ensuring that we stayed true to ourselves while shaping our narratives to meet the goals of the event. She was incredibly supportive and thorough, creating a safe and comfortable space for us to share and grow. Rachel has a clear vision and an incredible ability to help you bring your story to life while remaining authentic.”
